Round Bamboo Laundry Hamper with Lid and Handles

A laundry hamper gets looked at every day and touched even more. It should be the one thing in the room that does not look like plastic.

This one is woven from split bamboo over a rigid base, so it holds its shape when it is empty and when it is full. The lid sits inside the rim rather than on top of it, and the side handles are cut through the weave, so nothing protrudes into a hallway.

The base is reinforced with a second layer of bamboo. That is the part that fails first on cheap hampers, and it is the part we overbuild.

Does it come with a liner?

A removable cotton liner is optional. Most buyers take it, because it keeps small items from catching in the weave.

Can I get a square version?

Yes. We build the same hamper in a square section, which stacks better in a warehouse. Ask for the square spec sheet.

How much does it hold?

Roughly one full domestic wash load at the 35 x 50 cm size. The 38 x 50 cm version takes about 20% more.
