Our weaving workshop has specialized in woven products for over 30 years. This willow basket stands 56 cm tall, opens to 45 cm across and tapers to 36 cm at the base, so it holds its footing with a heavy pot inside. A second size runs 44 cm tall with a 36 cm top and a 30 cm base. The rim is turned and bound, which is what lets it be carried loaded.
Both sizes work as planters, as floor vases for dried stems, or as retail display pieces.

Frequently asked questions
Can it hold a real potted plant?
Yes with a liner. The willow is sealed but not waterproof, so a fitted plastic liner is the right call for anything watered in place.
Which size should I stock first?
The 56 cm is the display piece and the 44 cm is the volume seller. If you are stocking one, take the 44 cm, then add the 56 cm as the statement item.
Do the two sizes nest for shipping?
Partly. The 44 cm drops inside the 56 cm with a wrap between them, which is how we pack mixed orders.
