Folding Bamboo Room Divider, 180 and 200 cm Panels

Not every room needs a wall. Some just need something that can appear, do a job, and fold away.

Our weaving workshop has specialized in woven products for over 30 years. This screen is our take on the classic folding bamboo room divider: split bamboo woven by hand, set into a solid pine frame, hinged so it folds in both directions. Pick the 180 cm height for standard ceilings or the 200 cm for taller rooms. The weave passes light and air while still breaking the sight line, so a shared room stops feeling shared.

We build these ourselves, which means panel height, finish and frame stain are all open. Send us your dimensions and we will quote against them.

Can I order a different number of panels?

Four panels is the standard set, and the one we hold frame components for. We also build 2, 3, 5 and 6 panel versions. Panel count is independent of panel size, so a 2-panel 200 cm screen is as straightforward as a 6-panel 180 cm one. Custom counts carry the same 50 piece minimum per configuration.

Can I mix panel heights in one order?

Yes. You can take 180 cm and 200 cm in the same container as long as each height clears 50 pieces. Most buyers start with one height to test, then add the second on the reorder.

Is the bamboo treated for humidity?

Panels are kiln-dried, sanded and finished with a water-based sealer. That is enough for indoor use and for covered outdoor areas. Full exposure to rain will shorten its life, and we will tell you that rather than sell you into it.

How does it ship?

Screens travel folded and wrapped, roughly one carton per two panels. Nothing to assemble beyond standing it up.
