Shallow Willow Storage Trays, Set of Two

Deep baskets hide things. Shallow trays are where the keys, the post and the things you actually reach for end up.

Our weaving workshop has specialized in woven products for over 30 years. These two trays are hand-woven from willow with a low profile: 30x20x9 cm and 21x15x8 cm. The smaller one nests inside the larger. Woven over a light frame, they hold their shape under a full load of mail rather than sagging into a bowl.

Willow is splinter-free once sanded and sealed, and it takes a stain evenly, so a darker version needs no change to the weave.

Can I order the sizes separately?

Yes, each size is available on its own at the same 50 piece minimum. Most buyers take the pair because the nesting story sells on shelf.

Is the willow sealed?

It is sanded and sealed with a water-based topcoat. That is enough for dry goods and everyday items. We would not call it waterproof.

Do you make a deeper version?

We do, and it sits in our storage basket range. If you want the same weave in a deeper tray, send the depth and we will quote it.
