Custom Size Willow Flower Basket

Florists work in fixed sizes. A bucket is a bucket, a vase is a vase, and the arrangements are built around them. A basket should fit the arrangement, not the other way round.

Our weaving workshop has specialized in woven products for over 30 years. This flower basket is made to order: you send the diameter, the height and the opening you need, and we weave to it. The willow is hand-woven with a turned rim, and the wall is stiff enough to hold a wet foam block without bowing.

Because we make it to size, there is no tooling cost and no minimum beyond the usual 50 pieces.

What information do you need for a quote?

Diameter at the rim, diameter at the base if it tapers, height, and how many pieces. A sketch or a photo of an existing basket is enough.

How long does a custom size take?

A sample takes about a week. Bulk runs 30 to 45 days. The first article adds a few days, then it behaves like a stock item on reorders.

Can you add a plastic liner?

Yes. A fitted liner is the usual choice if the basket will hold wet foam or fresh water. It adds a little to the unit cost.
