Tall Bamboo Laundry Hamper, 40 x 30 x 60 cm

Most hampers are round because round is easy to weave. Round also wastes the corner of every room it stands in.

Our weaving workshop has specialized in woven products for over 30 years. This one is rectangular: 40 cm wide, 30 cm deep, 60 cm tall. It sits flush against a wall, holds a full household load, and the woven bamboo keeps its shape because the base carries a second layer. That base is the part that fails first on a cheap hamper, so it is the part we overbuild.

Three finishes are stocked: natural, carbonized and painted white.

Does it come with a lid?

A fitted lid and a removable fabric liner are both available. They are quoted separately so you can stock the base hamper at a sharper price point.

Will the white finish chip?

The white is a painted finish over sanded bamboo, sealed on top. It handles normal use. It will mark if something heavy is dragged across it, which is true of any painted weave.

How many fit in a container?

They nest in stacks of roughly five. We send the exact carton count and dimensions with the quote once you confirm the finish.
