Product Description

Japanese Tatami Floor Cushion with Jute Rope Edge & Linen Top
Bring quiet Japanese elegance to floor seating with this tatami-style round cushion. A hand-braided jute rope border frames a breathable linen seat surface — firm enough for proper posture, soft enough to stay on for hours.
Key Features & Benefits:
Natural Jute & Linen Materials: The jute rope edge is hand-braided, not machine-wrapped, providing durable structure without synthetic binding. The linen top is breathable, temperature-regulating, and softens beautifully with use.
Traditional Tatami Proportions: Sized and shaped for authentic Japanese floor sitting — tea ceremony, meditation, or casual floor dining. The firm, level surface supports natural spinal alignment without sinking.
Neutral, Intentional Palette: Available in grey, taupe, and warm beige — colors deliberately chosen to blend into Japandi, wabi-sabi, and minimalist interiors. Buy multiple to mix or keep uniform.
Lightweight & Stackable: Each cushion weighs under 2 kg and stacks flat for compact storage. Deploy a set around a low table in seconds — store them in a closet when not in use.
Durable High-Density Fill: The internal padding maintains seat height through daily use. Unlike budget foam cushions that flatten after weeks, this one holds its profile long-term.
Custom Specifications Available: Custom sizes, fill density, and color matching available for bulk orders. Suitable for interior design projects, hospitality seating, and retail product lines.
Whether for a home meditation space or a boutique hotel tea room, this cushion delivers authentic Japanese aesthetics with practical durability. Bulk and custom orders welcome for retailers, wellness brands, and hospitality buyers.

About Our Company

Craftsmanship & Community Impact
Our weavers — many of them women from the villages around our workshop — bring years of practice to every handwoven piece. The woven structure is sturdy and built for long-term use and wholesale distribution. The natural texture adds a warm, rustic touch to any space, suitable for home storage, hotel organization, retail displays, or homestay decoration. Unlike mass-produced goods, our handwoven items show unique details that reflect the maker’s hand, and the work stays in the weaving workshops around our own factory.

Our Manufacturing & Export Strengths
We are a manufacturer, not a trading office — weaving, finishing and packing all happen in our own 4,000 m² workshop. Twelve years of export work means the paperwork is routine: carton markings, barcodes, material composition and country of origin are prepared the way your market requires. Samples go out in about a week; bulk production runs 30–45 days.

Quality Control & Documentation

Testing and Documentation
At WovenNatural, we arrange inspection and laboratory testing to whatever standard each buyer requires. Heavy metals screening and formaldehyde screening are the two tests most often asked for on natural-fibre home goods; both have been run on our products and the reports are on file. Ask us for the latest copy. Test scope and limits follow your destination market.
What materials are your handwoven home decor products made from
All our products are made from natural materials: corn husk, willow, water hyacinth, seagrass and paper rope. Each product page lists the exact composition, the finish and the packing. They are sturdy and hold their shape in daily use.

What's your MOQ for the corn husk storage basket, and do you provide sample service?
