Room Dividers & Screens

Room dividers and screens, made in our own workshop

We build room dividers and folding screens in our own 4,000 m² workshop in Shandong, China. The workshop has been running since 2014, and screens have become our core line: solid wood frames, bamboo panels, hand-woven willow webbing and mixed-material combinations. Every unit is assembled, inspected and packed by our own team, so what you approve at sampling is what ships.

Buyers come to us for three reasons: the range covers the price points their market needs, every model can be re-sized and re-panelled, and we quote factory-direct because there is no trading company in between.

Four constructions, one supplier

Our screen range is organised by how the panel surface is made, because that is what decides the look, the freight cost and the price point:

  • Solid wood room dividers — carved and panelled hardwood frames. The heaviest construction, the longest service life, and the one hotels and restaurants ask for when the screen is part of the interior design rather than a functional divider.
  • Bamboo room dividers — natural bamboo slats and woven bamboo panels, lighter than hardwood and easier to freight in volume. Popular for lobbies, spa areas and summer terraces.
  • Woven willow and wicker room dividers — hand-woven willow webbing on a timber frame. The most decorative of the four, and the easiest to finish in white, natural or dark tones.
  • Mixed-material room dividers — combinations of wood, woven panels, fabric inserts and metal hardware. Used when a buyer needs a specific look that no single material delivers.

How we build to order

Every screen is produced to the buyer’s specification. Tell us the finished height and width, the number of panels, the hinge type and the finish, and we build to that. Standard configurations run from 3 to 6 panels, and non-standard panel counts are accepted as long as the tooling stays within our workshop capability.

The parts that stay constant across the range: solid timber frames, steel or brass hinges, and hand-woven or machined panel surfaces that are finished and QC’d before assembly. Nothing is drop-shipped from a third party.

Where our screens are used

Hotels and serviced apartments use them to split open-plan suites and to dress lobby corners. Restaurants and cafes use them to create semi-private seating without building walls. Offices use them to break up co-working floors and to hide storage behind a decorative face. Retail stores use them as movable backdrops that change with the season. Homes buy them for the same reasons at smaller sizes.

If you are specifying for a contract project, tell us the installation environment — humidity, direct sun, public traffic — and we will recommend the construction that survives it.

Quality control and documentation

Three checkpoints run on every order: incoming raw material, in-process inspection during weaving and assembly, and pre-shipment inspection on finished cartons. We arrange inspection and laboratory testing to whatever standard each buyer requires, and we issue the reports with the shipment.

OEM and ODM programs

We manufacture under our own models and under buyer brands. Send a drawing, a photo or a physical sample and we will reverse-engineer the construction, quote it, and flag anything that will not survive your market. Label, carton marking, barcode and inner packing are all part of the program.

What to send us to get a quotation

The fastest quotation comes from four things: finished size, panel count, target quantity and destination port. With those we can return pricing, packing data and a sample lead time within one working day. If you are still at the concept stage, send the room photo and the look you want and we will propose two or three constructions at different price points.
